Construction Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking a Construction Technician to join our team committed to quality craftsmanship, safe and well-maintained properties, and exceptional service to the people we work with.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring new build and rehab projects as well as maintenance of properties and buildings at a level not requiring formal licensure.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000 - $70,000 per year
Expected hours: 38 – 44 per week

Duties:

Building and repairing structures

Monitoring building projects

Light plumbing
-
Light electrical
-
Light framing
-
Carpentry (installation of doors, trim, kitchen cabinets, vanities, etc)

Installing light fixtures
-
Painting trim, doors, interior walls, exterior structures, etc
-
Installing plumbing fixtures
-
Installing LVP flooring
-
Installing vinyl siding
-
Installing windows
-
Installing electrical conduit, wiring, switches, and lights

Repairing doors, windows, and other building structures
-
Respond to tenant work orders as needed
Experience:
Plumbing, electrical, or carpentry abilities are required, including the ability to use small hand and power tools, precision measuring and testing devices, mechanical equipment, and various building trades materials.
The ability to understand and interpret blueprints and schematics is required.
The ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures is required.
The ability to understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures is required. Computer literacy is required.
A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required.
